P0404 Error after EGR valve replacement

code p0404  a low flow code p0401 is a restricted intake or p0405 would be either sticking egr pintle or carbon on the egr guy at Failure code of P0404 had been recorded I removed the EGR valve and discovered that small pieces of carbon had logded the valve open

I had the code read and it was P0404 and the recommendation is to clean the exhaust gas recirculation valve and all egr ports  P0404 is a EGR circuit code You most likely have an exhaust or intake leak which is why it's running rich Check the engine bay for soot or oil
